The Elizabeth
Fisk Looms weavings are a collection of tapestry woven linens
produced between 1890 and 1935. These works of art were woven
by hand on Colonial era looms using a unique process invented
by Elizabeth Fisk. These works represent the only use of this
technique in the history of weaving.
All of the
Eizabeth Fisk Looms weavings are currently in private collections
and museums. Our mission is to promote public awareness and
conservation of the Elizabeth Fisk Looms weavings. |
